Co-founding member of Canada's top international Rock & Roll group Honeymoon Suite. Donn played his self-styled innovative bass and provided lead vocals for this band and others of prominence such as: SCAVENGER, ROBBIE ROX, ANVIL, FRONT ST., CURTIS LEE, KELLY J & BAD MANORS both live and in the studio. SCAVENGER, Donn's pet project, has been ongoing for 15 years now. They reached acclaim 13 years ago after signing a record deal with Toronto & New York based Sunset Records. A video of SCAVENGER was syndicated 5 years ago for play on Rogers Cable & affiliated channels in Ontario. Prior to emigrating to Canada, Donn based the Atlantic Records act STORM out of Miami Florida. STORM toured with major recording acts such as: ROLLING STONES, JOHNNY WINTER, ROD STEWART, IRON BUTTERFLY, STEPPENWOLF, GRAND FUNK R & R, CANNED HEAT, JANIS JOPLIN, BOB SEAGER, EDGAR WINTER ETC... 12 years ago Donn was Co-owner of Sunset Records and acted as head of A & R and general manager, which included booking & managing the bands. Donn also under Mega Productions, produced a twelve band compilation album that was released in the fall of 1987. He also produced & played as well as promoted 13 Benefit concerts for several needy children's foundations from 1991-1995. Donn has also produced & promoted several large indoor/outdoor venues with big name acts such as: Larry Gowan, Goddo, Allen Williams,Cynthia Lennon, Pete Best ect... |
